Outreach Team

Members of Evergreen Presbyterian Church, through its Outreach Team, faithfully and generously respond to God’s call to “Feed my Sheep.”  The Outreach Ministry  provides food for the hungry, funds for those in need, assistance for those who live in substandard houses, and prayers and presence to those whom the culture ignores. These things we do because we believe Christ modeled these efforts in His life and ministry.

The Evergreen Outreach Ministry includes distribution of bags of non-perishable food on Wednesday mornings through the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry,  financial assistance each Wednesday morning to individuals struggling to meet basic obligations, and purchasing and preparing meals the third week of each month for the homeless and hungry who come to Mama Tina’s Mission.

Additionally, Evergreen’s compassionate generosity includes  Habitat ministry, the Food Bank’s brown bag program, the Feed My Sheep Golf Tournament, the Girard Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and Adopt-a-School efforts, the visitors and new members fellowship; the Touchstone children bringing their donations to the food pantry, and mission trips for adults and young people.
